For this weeks blog I went to dekaresarch.com and learned abut Dean Kamen.
Dean Kamen is an inventer who has made many helpful inventions to help people with disabilites. Some of his inventions incude the iBot and the insulin pump.

NHD Topic

For my NHD project I want to do Dean Kamen. Dean Kamen invented many inventions to help americans with disabilities. I chose him because I am intrested in how he saved my moms life. He invented a device that stops diabetics from giving them self six shots a day. My mom has had one for a long time. I believed i would not have a mom now if it weren't for his invention.

The War in Iraq

Barrack Obama's thoughts on the war in Iraq...

• Withdraw all combat brigades during first 16 months in office
  
• Temporarily keep a much mall "residual" force to fight terrorists, but no permenant bases
• Opposed going to war with Iraq in 2002
• Opposed troop surge
  

John McCain's thoughts on the war in Iraq...

• Withdraw if Iraq is secure, no timetables
• Would support a non-combat troop presence in Iraq, unless Iraqis want us to leave
• Supported going to war with Iraq in 2002
• Believes our inital stratagy  in Iraq was a failure but that the troop surge is succeeding 

 I think that the war in Iraq is senceless. All the war in Iraq has done for our country was raise the prices of everything and get soldiers killed. We never caught Osama Bin Laden but we go to Iraq. We are wasting our energy in Iraq. Sadam is gone. We helped the Iraqi people. But why did we go in the first place? Well reports say that Iraq had wepons of mass destruction and that they threatened to use them against us. So six years later, where are the wepons of mass destruction. We never found any. So we go to war on a false claim. We need to get the a CIA opertive to search so we can validate the claim before we go to war and lives are lost. We have lost many troops in Iraq. They should let the Iraqi military take over. It is time to come home. 

  I think Barrack Obama is the best choice for president. He wants to bring the troops home. He has the same idea as me, we should have never should have even gone to Iraq. If i were you I'd vote for Barrack Obama to be the President of the United States so we can end the war.   

Crime and Punishment and the presidential election

My belief is that criminals who commit felonies should be punished. I am like Ralf Nader. We both support gun control. Too many firearms are ending up killing people. People who are convicted felons should not have the rite to poses firearms

Why Our Country Should And Should NOT Elect For President Of The United States

I think that the person that should be elected president is Barrack Obama. The United States is ready for change. The Republican party has made our country terrible. Higher taxes, economy in deficit, foreclosures, poverty, and high prices on all goods such as oil and gas are just some of the things that the Republican party has done to our country. I think that John McCain will carry on the Republican/ Bush Legacy. McCain agreed on Bush's policies 95% of the time. If you want to keep ruining the country, go head, elect McCain. But if you want change for the better, vote for the Democratic nominee, Barrack Obama.
